INTRODUCTION


Hi guys ! Welcome to my blog. Salam UITM dihatiku! Let me introduce myself first. My name is Muhammad Shah Haikal Bin Mohd Erwan. I came from Negeri Sembilan. After SPM, i further my studies in Pre-Diploma Argotechnology (AT001) at UITM Pahang Kampus Jengka. To illustrate, this is a blog about UED 102 study Skills that all new UITM's student will learn during their interim week. Hope everyone gain useful information here! Enjoy this blog !

So here one of the purpose I’m doing this portfolio is to introduce to students about UED 102 or well know with soft skills. UED 102 provides students with learning skills essential for varsity life.


MODULE 3: TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS








WHAT IS TIME MANAGEMENT ?

Time management is the ability to use one’s time effectively or productively, especially at work.Time management also is the process of organizing and planning how to devide your time between specific activities. 


WHY IS TIME MANAGEMENT IMPORTANT ?

Knowing how to manage your time properly is important as it brings a number of great benefits to your work routine and life overall.


  1.  Time management helps you waste less time and avoid more friction and problems.
  2.  Time management helps you clear your schedule for more leisure time and feel more energized.
  3.  Time management helps you feel calmer and less stressed over time.
  4. Time management refers to managing time effectively so that the right time is allocated to the right activity.
  5. Effective time management allows individuals to assign specific time slots to activities as per their importance.
  6. Time management refers to making the best use of time as time is always limited. 


Time management is the process of planning and exercising conscious control of time spent on spesific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficient, and productivity. Individual that the ability to organize their time wisely are likely to be more successful and more discipline.


ACTIVITY 1: PERSONAL SCEDULE




WHY A PERSONAL SCHEDULE IS SO IMPORTANT ?

1.Makes us more efficent
-When we have a routine that we follow daily, it reduces that need to make decisions each day. It enables us to know exactly what tasks we need to do each day without having to contemplate, decide or think too much. When we are finished with one task, we know that comes next without much thought. Activities become  standardized and we become more efficient as a result.

2.Reduces our need to plan
-When we carefully design a set routine to follow, to eliminates the need to plan our activities every morning and budget and allocate our precious time. it takes the guesswork out of our day and allows to wake up and 'do' instead to wake up and 'plan'.

3.Instill good habits
-The secret to building good habits is repetition.When we design a personal routine that works for us, it facilitates developing good habits by encouraging us to repeat the same task over and over again.Just like brushing our teeth every morning, adhering to a routine allows us to foster habits that match our goals and aspirations.

ACTIVITY 2: TASK TO BE DONE





In conclusion, time management works best when a goal or target is set. This is effectively a method of bunch marking progress. So, every time the activity is performed, you can measure it yourself and improve upon various aspects of the tasks. It is a crucial skill for students and working professionals. Everyone must practice time management to improve productivity and efficiency of tasks.
